NCC Education Level 5 Diploma in Business
A Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) qualification equivalent to the second year of a UK honours degree in business, and the second stage of the NCC Education Business Degree pathway - recognised in England as a Higher Technical Qualification (HTQ) and approved for funding.
Course Overview
The Level 5 Diploma in Business (L5DB) builds upon the knowledge and skills developed during the NCC Education Level 4 Diploma in Business, introducing more advanced business concepts across economics, marketing, finance, leadership and management.
Learners explore contemporary topics including entrepreneurship, innovation and growth, raising finance, agile leadership, business ethics, and the impact of global policy on organisations. The course combines academic study with practical, career-focused learning to build the professional knowledge, analytical skills and confidence needed to succeed in today's global business environment.
Successful completion prepares students for progression to the final year of a UK honours degree, or for a wide range of career opportunities in international business.

Entry Requirements
The NCC Education Level 4 Diploma in Business (L4DB), or a local/international qualification agreed as equivalent with NCC Education in advance.
If a student's first language is not English, they need a valid IELTS score of 5.5 or above (or equivalent), or the free NCC Education English Placement Test via Accredited Partner Centres.

Fees & Funding
Tuition fees for UK & EU students with settled status for 2025/26 are £7,250. Fees may change in future years in line with government policy. Eligible home (UK resident) students may apply for funding through the Student Loans Company - contact our Admissions Team to check eligibility.

This diploma is awarded by NCC Education, an internationally recognised UK awarding body, and is supported throughout your studies by EDA College's academic support services.
